It is ridiculous to have gone through the trouble of cancelling our service with Cox, having someone come out to hook up new service and then having to call Cox back so that we could function from a network/working/streaming perspective- and to add insult to injury be charged a fee that wouldve been waived if we stayed for 12 months. I am currently awaiting a call back from the owner John. She was not customer friendly and rude to say the least. All of which is working perfectly on Cox network. Melissa told me how the problem was everything from our router to one of the computers being on a VPN network. I spoke with a representative (Lori) to explain the concern with being charged when Zona was the problem, not us. Zona advertises no contract and no cancellation fee so this seems deceptive. Upon calling to cancel Zona we were told that we would have to pay a $100 cancellation fee for the installation (which by the way was nothing more than connecting the wires because we had the wiring built with the home). Within the same month we started the service, we had to go back to Cox. A tech came out to trouble shoot and the problem was not resolved. We contacted Zona to learn if there was a higher plan we could purchase that would provide the service we needed and was told we were on the highest plan. We experienced a massive slow down of service, interruptions, etc. Reading the advertisements and few great reviews on the web lured us into cancelling our contract with Cox to give them a try. If you have Zona available at your address and you are paying somebody else for internet, you are making a bad decision. Zona has blown me away thus far with their employees, their customer service, and their product. 97% of advertised speed is way more than any other ISP is likely to get you.Now working from home is actually feasible as I my internet wont drop out during online meetings. It is really amazing with Zona to see that every time I run the speed test, they are providing almost exactly what they advertise. It is absolutely awesome! When I was with Cox Id run a speed test to see how poorly the internet would be acting that day and always shutter at the results. I subscribed to their 1 Gig up 1 Gig down package and guess what? Every time I run a speed test I am within 92-97% of both up and down speeds. Before he left he made sure I was getting the proper speed to all my computers. He was super professional and explained what he was doing every step of the way. Anyway, this review is about how great Zona Wyyerd is, not how terrible Cox is.Tony came out on July 9 and got my internet up and running in a little less than an hour or so. Cox found this to be acceptable as they told me all their speeds are advertised up to. I received anywhere from 75-240 down and, on average. I switched to them after non-stop struggling with cox cable internet. I will preface this by saying I have only had their internet since Thursday.
